David L. Day, Sr., 91, of Natrona Heights, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2026 at UPMC St. Margaret Memorial Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born February 25, 1935 in Berry, KY to the late Grover Cleveland and Lillie Dell (Leach) Day. David was a machine operator for 47 years at the Catholic Cemetery Association. David loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, David L. (Beverly) Day, Jr., Michelle Bowers, Daniel (Valerie) Day, Sandra Long, Karen Lucio and Lynn (Edwin) Taylor; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Emmett Thomas Day. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Patricia Day, sister-in-law Dolores (Stan) Bajack, sister Norma Jean Neace, brother Donald Day, and companion Shirley Linderman.
