Barbara Lorraine Crowell, 84, of Tarentum, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. She was born January 5, 1942 in Tarentum to the late Floyd and Jessie (Bowser) Callen. Barbara lived most of her life in Fawn Township where she was a homemaker and also worked for a while at the credit union. She was a member of Sarver Brethren Church and sang country western music at Parks Outdoorsman club. Barbara graduated from Har Brack High school and enjoyed taking care of her animals, gardening, and taking care of her farm.

Survivors include her sons, Brandon Crowell, Ron (Elaine) Gross and Patrick (Debbie) Crowell. Also surviving are her grandchildren Alexa Crowell, Jarret (Jordan) Crowell, Cody (Madison) Gross and Amanda (Rory) Hegarty and great grandchildren Landyn and Waylon Crowell; numerous nieces and nephews and care giver Lashawnda Justice. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Tom Callen and Karen Cotton and a nephew Tommy Callen.
